IdleWild Ranch Florida

IdleWild is our family-owned ranch in the heart of Central Florida.

We are a premier breeder of Registered Miniature HERITAGE Hereford cattle in Florida. Heritage Herefords represent the breed frame and disposition of stock that first came to America from England in the early 1800's. Our registered cattle are polled (not horned), gentle and family friendly. Their size and temperament make them easy to work with by young and old alike.

We also maintain a cross-bred, horned herd of "Crackerfords" (Mini Hereford x Florida Cracker). They look and act like Herefords but are hardy like Florida Crackers.

This breed frame size is very rare in the Sunshine State so please call us for information. Our Sale Barn empties quickly. Most of our stock is sold prior to weaning. But, we have a waiting list!

This young heifer has personality plus. She is always the first one to the gate to say HI (and to see if we have treats). Herefords love attention.

We love watching our Herefords enjoy their environment. Here the watering hole becomes a summertime swim and splash for the herd.
